Georgia at the bookstore

What does a writer (OK, this writer) do when the current chapter feels hopelessly stuck in the muck?

Walk over to the neighborhood bookstore for a good browse, of course!

And there I was surprised and delighted to find not one, but two new books giving the nod to Georgia O’Keeffe.

The first one was Dave Eggers’s new novel, Contrapposto.

It’s gotten buzz, so I leafed through it. And on the epigraph page, here’s what I found:

To see takes time, like to have a friend takes time.

The second one was easier to spot, face up on a a table on my way to the cash register.

I purchased both books, but haven’t read them yet. Still wrestling with this chapter…
